Pesticide Injections: Injections are started in early spring as soon as the bark thaws,And continued throughout the year effectively. The systemic insecticide is injected into the cambium layer of the tree. The sap moves the insecticide throughout the tree to protect from insects.

Systemic injections only kill the insects feeding on treated trees. Injected formulations control tree pests for one year, expanding the window of treatment.

How long do tree injections last?

The injections last for 12 months, and we recommend that you get them done yearly to prevent the disease from returning. Ideally, we will give the injection in the early spring, around April or May. In many cases, these insects can spread quickly from tree to tree
